Summary

All it took was one dang food delivery order。。。

Because when the guy answered the door to tip me, my wolf took over。

And now I'm hunting him。

I thought my first mate was bad enough。 My wolf rejected him after he hit me, and I was more glad than I can ever say。 Especially when I found out a few weeks later that I was pregnant。

But things are more complicated this time。

Now, my toddler is involved。。。 and being taken-care-of by the guy my wolf is hunting, who clearly doesn't know what to do with a little boy。 But he's trying, and he's kind, which is a lot more than I can say about the jerk who got me pregnant。

The last thing I wanted was to do this mating thing all over again。。。 but now that I'm here, I'm starting to wonder if maybe fate doesn't get everything wrong。

Absolutely loved this story! With a single mom and a tuff schedule in comes uber sweet, gentleman Elliot。 I adored his character and the amazing way he treats Lizzy。 This is part of a series, but can completely be read as a standalone。 Enjoy!。

Elliot and Liz 💖The Mate Hunt books are such a cool series where each book follows a different couple but their stories are all intertwined as the boys are all a pack。I liked how this story flipped the usual and a female became the hunter after she'd previously rejected her first mate。Liz is just trying to make enough money to support her and her 2 year old son working a few different jobs one of them delivering food and so when Elliot meets her it sends Liz's wolf into the hunt。 Elliot is then Elliot and Liz 💖The Mate Hunt books are such a cool series where each book follows a different couple but their stories are all intertwined as the boys are all a pack。I liked how this story flipped the usual and a female became the hunter after she'd previously rejected her first mate。Liz is just trying to make enough money to support her and her 2 year old son working a few different jobs one of them delivering food and so when Elliot meets her it sends Liz's wolf into the hunt。 Elliot is then tasked with looking after her son Evan as part of his test to prove to her wolf he's worthy of her bite。Liz's has a tough past with a mate who abused her causing her wolf to reject him and then when she found out she was pregnant her family disowned her。 She's hesitant to give her heart to someone again but Elliots sweet and patient nature makes it hard for her not to。Elliot has no family besides his pack after his parents died when he was a teenager but with Liz he gets everything he's ever wanted。 Liz gets her second chance and Elliot gets an instant family。Sweet Read 💖 。。。more

I think this one was my favourite of this series to date。 I’ve always been intrigued by Elliot and he did not disappoint。 I loved that his hunt was turned on it’s head and so different from the other guys。 I can’t wait to see what Lola Glass comes up with for Dax, and Ryder, and their mates!

Loved the combined hunt/chase and Elliot getting an instant family from being hunted by one who had rejected her first mate (who had bitten then hurt her) and who came with a son (from her first mating)。 Elliot is such a calm and protective alpha and I really enjoyed reading how he adapts his life to look after his new mate’s son (who is already shifting himself) while she is stuck in Wolf shape hunting him; then how they work together to make their new situation work best。It was also great to m Loved the combined hunt/chase and Elliot getting an instant family from being hunted by one who had rejected her first mate (who had bitten then hurt her) and who came with a son (from her first mating)。 Elliot is such a calm and protective alpha and I really enjoyed reading how he adapts his life to look after his new mate’s son (who is already shifting himself) while she is stuck in Wolf shape hunting him; then how they work together to make their new situation work best。It was also great to meet Lizzie’s room mate Sab, who’s hoping to find a werewolf who will claim her as his mate, and how she’s welcomed into the pack as she also helps with Evan, Lizzie’s son。 Two very different characters but good friends。This book is written from both the view point of Elliot (the Wolf being hunted) and Liz (hunting/chasing her second mate) and I loved seeing it from both their views, particularly as Elliot had expected to be the one to hunt and Liz didn’t expect to find another mate after her first, bad experience, and due to this isn’t sure how she feels about her Wolf finding another (better) soulmate。I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

If you need a swoon worthy male character that gives you butterflies Elliot is it! I adore this couple so much and how they work together to make this story enjoyable。 While Lizzy is in her wolf hunting phase she’s skeptical about another mating process since she had a bad experience with her ex。 But Elliot slowly wins her heart as he is patient and loving towards her and her son Evan the whole time when he was able to care for Evan himself。 I love the way the author has all these characters int If you need a swoon worthy male character that gives you butterflies Elliot is it! WOW!! This was great! Elliot and Lizzy are awesome! Getting to see the flip side, and that not all Werewolves are as great as this pack was awesome and seeing the Female hunt the wolf and hearing her verson was hypnotic and so politically correct on how single mothers view potential men was a great way for this story to go! But I am more than Ready for the next installment to see how this twist works out!。I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Lizzy thought she had a mate but was abusive so her wolf denied it, found out she was pregnant and parents disowned her and took her trust fund left by her grandmother。 He found her was going to kill their baby but her wolf took care of him, had to work 3 jobs to keep food for her little one。 She went to deliver food at Elliott’s house her wolf saw him and took over he had to prove to her that he was great with her son and accepted him。 Good book!。I received a free copy of this book and am volun Lizzy thought she had a mate but was abusive so her wolf denied it, found out she was pregnant and parents disowned her and took her trust fund left by her grandmother。 He found her was going to kill their baby but her wolf took care of him, had to work 3 jobs to keep food for her little one。 She went to deliver food at Elliott’s house her wolf saw him and took over he had to prove to her that he was great with her son and accepted him。 Good book!。I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Tested by the Alpha is the fifth installment in the Mate Hunt series written by Lola Glass。 This book is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone。 This fated mate paranormal romance is a slow-burn fated mate story。Lizzy Kaen is struggling to make ends meet as a single mom to her 2-year-old son, Evan, and working three different jobs。 She has sworn off men after her fated mate claimed her but became abusive。 Her wolf rejected him but not before he impregnated her。 Lizzy is Tested by the Alpha is the fifth installment in the Mate Hunt series written by Lola Glass。 This book is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone。 This fated mate paranormal romance is a slow-burn fated mate story。Lizzy Kaen is struggling to make ends meet as a single mom to her 2-year-old son, Evan, and working three different jobs。 She has sworn off men after her fated mate claimed her but became abusive。 Her wolf rejected him but not before he impregnated her。 Lizzy is disowned by her wealthy parents and has to sacrifice to survive。 Luckily, she has a couple of friends in her corner that helped her get back on her feet when Ev was born。 Fate surprises Lizzy with another fated mate during her side-gig delivering food to make extra cash。 Elliot is a very likable character。 He is a gentleman, always cheerful, and a calming presence。 I’m so glad we finally got his book! Elliot wanted to find his fated mate and could never imagine the woman would be hunting him (usually the men hunt the women) or that she would have a toddler。 Luckily, Elliot is a natural and does very well caring for Ev while Lizzy is in wolf form。 Elliot is so patient and kind。 He doesn’t get angry or frustrated with Ev which is extremely important to Lizzy。 He even gives her much needed space to allow a romantic relationship to form between the two of them。 Overall, this was a super sweet book。 Elliot is swoon-worthy and I am so glad he found his happily-ever-after!Tropes: Fated mates, friends-to-lovers, slow burn, rejected mates, second chances, werewolf shifters, virgin hero, happily-ever-after, single momHeat: 2/5 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 All I can say is wow!! This book was completely unexpected and amazing all at the same time。 It was a completely different way for werewolves to mate, but I loved the originality of the concept。 This book took the usual werewolf mating theme and dropped it on its head!! Way to go Lola Glass。 I hope you write more books in this series as I cannot wait to read more。I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Tested by the Alpha (Mate Hunt number five) by Lola Glass is the fifth book in her Mate Hunt series。 This book was about Elliot and Liz and Evan。 Lizzy has had a hard start at becoming a werewolf。 An abusive mate found her and life became hard for the women。 Being a single mom, she worked her tail off to survive。 Then a chance delivery to a certain Alphas house - second chance at a mate。 Great story。 I love how the pack comes together and helps each other。 I love that Elliot is NOT your typical Tested by the Alpha (Mate Hunt number five) by Lola Glass is the fifth book in her Mate Hunt series。 This book was about Elliot and Liz and Evan。 Lizzy has had a hard start at becoming a werewolf。 An abusive mate found her and life became hard for the women。 Being a single mom, she worked her tail off to survive。 Then a chance delivery to a certain Alphas house - second chance at a mate。 Great story。 I love how the pack comes together and helps each other。 I love that Elliot is NOT your typical Alpha。 He's just what Liz and Evan need。 HEA guaranteed。 Looking forward to the next book。 。。。more

Lizzy, the female lead, has been selected to be a male wolf’s mate before but she killed the abusive male after he attacked her and tried to kill their child。 Both she and Elliot, the male lead, are stunned when her wolf claims Elliot as her mate。 Whilst not averse to a helpmate, Lizzy never expected to have a romantic partner but Elliot is willing to work towards that…This story is dual POV, well written, and a beautiful tale of love after leaving abuse。 I appreciated the sensitivity the author Lizzy, the female lead, has been selected to be a male wolf’s mate before but she killed the abusive male after he attacked her and tried to kill their child。 Both she and Elliot, the male lead, are stunned when her wolf claims Elliot as her mate。 Whilst not averse to a helpmate, Lizzy never expected to have a romantic partner but Elliot is willing to work towards that…This story is dual POV, well written, and a beautiful tale of love after leaving abuse。 I appreciated the sensitivity the author brought to the subject matter, as well as Lizzy’s genuine resilience and perseverance prior to the story’s commencement。 Elliot’s gentle kindness was gorgeous and exactly what Lizzy needed。I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
